Now Playing: the noise of the air thru the vents
When I mention this project to people, half of them respond with knowledge, either firsthand or rumour, of some place which is haunted. Some people have seen the ghost nurse up in ICU; others tell tales of staff member who's children complained of being pinched in the middle of the night. There's an old schoolhouse out in the country that's reportedly haunted. People I know have "friends" in their houses. Several ER peeps report activity in medical records (which happens to be right under ICU). I've seen what I thought was a rat running across one of the rooms in pediatrics (which is the floor right above the ICU) when I was outside the room-- I went in there to chase the thing in a corner, and there was no rat, and there was no way for it to leave.

Here's one of the stories I heard. A friend, RN, helped to care for her friends son while he was dying from a longterm illness. A few months after he passed on, she went over to the house to visit her friend. She looked up to his bedroom, saw the curtains part, and he looked out the window and waved to her. After a bit his face left the window, the curtains closed. After telling the man's mother about this incident she responded,"I know he's still here with me".

Greetings!
A friend and I got an idea to research haunted houses in our area after discussing them at work one night.. our information will be posted here.

What will be posted will be short movies, pictures, any research about the target homes, things which provide color and background.

At this time, we're unable to take requests for researching YOUR haunted house, but we love to hear stories.

We're not here to debate theology; please do not send dissertations on your particular religion's belief about ghosts/whatever-you-want-to-call-them. They will not be posted.

We'll even post your pictures, but keep in mind that people will comment on them.
